Hi,
I have a problem with Server Manager 2012 and roaming profiles. I have a RDS deployment containing around 9 servers: several TS (RDS) boxes, and the associated infrastructure (connection broker, web access, SQL etc). Roaming profiles are also enabled in the environment for all users, including administrators.
If I add all the servers into Server Manager on one computer, say TS01, it all looks fine. If I log out of that box and back in again on the same server everything is still OK. However, if I then log off that server and into another, say TS02, I find that TS01 is missing from server manager. If I then re-add it, log off, then log into another server, say TS03, I find that TS02 is then missing.
It seems that whichever server I was last logged onto goes missing when I log onto another server. My understanding is that Server Manager should work fine with roaming profiles (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/hh831456.aspx). I can get around the problem by always logging into the same server for administration but it's sometimes necessary to perform tasks from another server.
Any thoughts please?
Many thanks.
