I am trying to install 4.6.1 .net framework on a 2012 r2 server, however it is saying I have a later version installed already. In the Registry, it lists my version as 4.7.02558 and the number for Release is 461310. However, in Programs& Features there is no .net framework listed there for me to uninstall. In the Server manager, the only .net features listed there are 3.5 and 4.5. Furthermore, I have already uninstalled the KB3186539 update and rebooted the server afterwards. I can see the 4.7 version listed in the registry, and I see all of its files in its microsoft/Framework64 directory, but I cannot figure out how to remove it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
