I noticed earlier that our Remote Desktop Services collection has disappeared from Server Manager. If I click on Remote Desktop Services in the left-hand pane and then Overview, I see "A Remote Desktop Services deployment does not exist in the server pool." I checked in Add Roles and Features and it's all there, and Remote Desktop Services is shown on the dashboard as running healthily. Also, the whole thing seems to be working anyway as I can go to the RD Web Access page and login and use everything normally. As far as our end users are concerned there is no issue.
The only thing I've done recently to our RDS server is install Windows Updates through WSUS, which I had to get working by applying a patch to our 2008 R2 WSUS server. Most of the updates on the RDS server are for Office 2013 anyway, with a few generic looking security updates thrown in - nothing specifically referencing RDS - so am unsure what may have gone awry here. I have rebooted the server and restarted the relevant services, but no luck.
Any help will be appreciated.
